Our story

Pacific Relevance Consulting was born from its founder’s experience working in the Pacific. She met many consultants—most of whom were well-meaning—who did not understand the Pacific context well enough to offer practical advice or technical assistance. Not only did this waste time for the organizations, consultant fees ate up valuable chunks of limited budgets. Natalie Nimmer offers an alternative: offering technical expertise that sustains local priorities and cultural values.

Our logo

PRC logo

The Pacific Relevance logo depicts a breadfruit leaf because of this tree’s integral importance to Pacific communities. We gather under the tree to talk story in its cool shade. These conversations build strong relationships that are the beginning point for problem-solving and visioning about our community’s struggles so we can chart a promising future. We are nourished by the fruit throughout the year since it is versatile enough to be preserved for the off-season period. Also, the mighty breadfruit tree can be carved into a canoe to take us on our journeys. Logo design by Think Greatly
